LEANNE DUREE

Leanne Duree has been the Chief Financial Officer at Whitener Law Firm since 2002. She is responsible for all fiscal duties at the Firm as well as sharing in all marketing and human resources decisions. In addition, Leanne works on every case at the time of settlement which includes negotiating with auto insurance companies, medical providers and health insurance companies.

She believes that the Firm’s philosophy of “not taking more in a fee than the client puts in their pocket” has greatly contributed to the longevity and success of Whitener Law Firm and that each client should be treated with respect and compassion throughout their representation.

Leanne holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in General Management, both from the University of New Mexico.

Leanne is a life-long resident of New Mexico and spent many years living and working on a feedlot and several ranches around the state. She raised both of her children on a working cattle ranch in central New Mexico and remained very active in the cattle industry until a few years ago when she transitioned to a full-time position at Whitener Law Firm. She still owns and races thoroughbred and quarter horses in New Mexico, Colorado, and Arizona.
